Tim came to ASOS and gave a talk as part of our expert masterclass series.

His story was inspirational, uplifting and honest with some thought-provoking messages on how to make the best out of your life regardless of the challenges you face.

As Tim say’s you either ‘wait for things to happen or make it happen’.

The talk has been watched and shared by many ASOSers and everyone in the business including our CEO is still talking about it now.

Thank you Tim, you definitely won a lot of hearts and minds!”

Tim Reddish’s keynote address at the Global Sports & Entertainment Innovation Summit, hosted by Cisco and AEG, challenged industry leaders to be visionaries, accept the risk inherent in making big decisions, and dynamically facilitate change. A remark that struck a chord with executives was – ‘sustaining is standing still’ – it inspired all of us to actively look at how we can play a vital role in transforming our own teams, arenas, leagues and organizations. Tim’s dedication to overcoming challenges in his life, and success at the highest level in sport, was the perfect way to close our Summit, and left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.

Tim came to talk to a group of Oxfam’s highly experienced humanitarian workers..people who respond to emergencies across the world. He spoke about his personal journey and the challenges he had had to face and overcome due to his disability. The link between his story and the people who work during an emergency response was vividly made by Tim, as he likened his challenges to theirs. He was both highly inspiring to them and down-to-earth. His visit and talk was greatly appreciated by all and seen as a highlight of our 5 day programme.

I have had the pleasure of hearing Tim, or speaking alongside him, many times in the last 3 years. He knows how to engage and motivate an audience, has genuine empathy and takes the time to draw appropriate lessons for any type of audience from his experience as an athlete and leader of the Paralympic movement. He has a very authentic style and is a compelling advocate for high performance and striving to reach your goals whatever the odds

Not Tim – he has used this life changing situation to challenge us all to think about what is possible, overcome our worst fears and achieve our dreams.
